A Complete Stranger Agrees To Pay For Expensive Surgery To Save The Dog’s Life
A good pet can mean the world to someone and be their beloved companion in the most difficult moments. However, caring for a pet can be expensive, especially when it comes to medical bills, and even the most loyal dog owners struggle with this. Such was the case with a woman who faced the heartbreaking prospect of losing her only partner after receiving a hefty medical bill. Fortunately, a guardian angel came to help.
Like many people, Teresa Bocklem of Westminster, Colorado, was personally devastated by the COVID19 pandemic: the coronavirus swallowed the lives of both her parents and aunt, reports The Denver Channel. She also had a miscarriage. Amidst all these losses, she found solace in her beloved dog, a two-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Chloe. “She comforted me in the most difficult moments of my life,” Teresa told the Denver channel.
But in July, she was devastated when Chloe didn’t answer. The dog had the condition later diagnosed as an autoimmune blood disorder. After visiting the vet, she discovered that her beloved dog could only be saved with a blood transfusion that would cost her over two thousand dollars. Unable to afford such expenses, she was devastated to think that she might lose her beloved companion. “I looked at God and said,” Really? “…” Now and Chloe? “I said,” I can’t do that anymore. I can’t, I can’t. I said, “I feel very lonely in this world.” But soon her prayers were answered: after so much loss and destruction, she finally performed a miracle.
After the news about Chloe’s condition became available on the Internet, she was contacted by a complete stranger and, to her surprise, offered to pay for the treatment of the dog! “I started crying hysterically,” Teresa told The Denver Channel. – I mean, I couldn’t believe it.
The stranger, now anonymous to the public, paid for Chloe’s blood transfusion and all subsequent visits to the vet. An amazing act of kindness saved Chloe’s life, and now she’s doing great. It also changed Teresa’s life, inspiring her after such a difficult year. “For me, the option is to pay in advance,” she said. Bless this nice stranger for selflessly doing this and saving this dog’s life. After Teresa lost so much, we’re glad Chloe is still there for her.
