Heartbroken Puppy Abandoned On Side Of Road Never Moved From The Cardboard Box Used To Dump Her

A puppy had been abandoned in a cardboard box in south Texas. She had been left on the side of the road, but she never left the box and waited for help.

A nearby neighbor noticed the puppy and gave her water before calling animal control. Meanwhile, the puppy remained in the box.

Temperatures reached over 104 degrees, with a heat index of 110, but she remained and waited. It’s as if she was waiting someone she knew to come back and take her home.

Today, the puppy now dubbed Harvest, arrived at Dallas Dog – Rescue, Rehab. Reform. Her age is estimated to be between 10 and 14 weeks.
