Hours After Her Dog Passed Away, A Grieving Woman Sees Her Face In The Clouds

Our pets are more than just animals; they’re like family members and best friends… When one of them dies, it’s a heartbreaking experience. Many pet owners who are grieving find solace in the thought that their pets are just over the “rainbow bridge,” waiting for us in the afterlife.
That was the case for one young woman who received a message from her deceased pet dog in the afterlife. When Lucy Ledgeway, a 19-year-old from York, England, lost her beloved pet dog Sunny, she was devastated. After a seizure, the 14-year-old Jack Russell terrier died.
Lucy was grieving a lot in the house after Sunny died, so she went for a car ride with her boyfriend to get some fresh air and clear her head. Lucy wanted to feel Sunny’s presence as they passed by a spot where she used to take Sunny for walks.
“It was strange,” she told the Daily Mail, “I was thinking to myself that I wanted to see Sunny in the sky as a sign that she was OK.”
But then she raised her eyes to the sky… and saw the expression on her dog’s face “I was crying my eyes out when I saw Sunny up in the sky.”
“My dog died in my father’s arms this morning, seconds before we left for the vet.” We went out later that day to clear our heads, and I cried to my boyfriend in the seat where she died, pleading for a sign that she was okay. “Is this what I was blessed with?”
Some skeptics may see nothing or dismiss it as a coincidence, but Lucy had all the proof she needed that her dog had gone to a better place. “I felt a surge of warmth after seeing Sunny in the sky. It was her way of letting us know she was fine,” Lucy explained.
She took a photo of the inspiring vision and shared it on Twitter, where it quickly went viral. It has over 100,000 likes, and many dog lovers have expressed their sorrow… and some have even shared similar cloud vision stories:
“After my son died, something similar happened to me. I know how difficult it is to lose them, so please accept my heartfelt condolences.”
“OMG, when our baby died in April, the EXACT SAME THING HAPPENED TO US!” ???” Sending lots of love and comfort to your family during this difficult time!”
With so many cases like this, it’s possible that our dogs are sending us signs from beyond the rainbow bridge, as a way of letting us know everything is fine. Tell someone to look up the next time he or she loses a beloved pet… They may only see a reassuring expression.
