You may be aware that Disney will soon announce a remake of The Lion King. July 19, to be more specific. Everyone knows how beautiful and popular the first series was (and I’m sure the remake will be a success too). But what about the real life moments of Mufasa and Simba? This wildlife photographer was able to take the perfect picture. And he’s recreating moments from famous Disney cartoons.

Paris-based photographer Sabine Bernert, who filmed the documentary in Kenya’s Masai Mara, captured this captivating moment.

In the photo, a majestic lion watches his territory, while one of the cubs (obviously the most naughty) sneaks away from his father and asks for a hug.

According to the photographer, a tender moment was captured when she was photographing for a children’s book. And what the charming moment she captured.

According to the photographer, a tender moment was captured when she was photographing for a children’s book. “The lion pretended not to see the cub until the last moment. Then they had fun. I especially like the moment when the male lion gently hugs the cub. It’s a contrast of his ferocious power and softness, and huge feet that hold the little cub very gently,” Sabina told LADBible. “I was amazed at how gentle this giant lion played with its cubs. They seemed to be really having fun and enjoying themselves. It was a moment of pure grace under the warm sunlight.”

The remake of The Lion King airs in less than a month. Stay tuned!
