Little Puppy Was Using Dirty Shoe As Shelter Until Kind Man Rescued Him

Sometimes a small gesture can change the life of a little creature in dire need of help. This little dog’s days were terribly difficult, but his luck changed when a kind man met him.

Even this heartbreaking story eventually turned into a happy ending, thanks to one hero, unfortunately there are countless stories like this, with little animals dumped on the side of the road, as if they were unnecessary things. Perhaps it is time for humanity to realize that all sentient beings have emotions and that they are all worth caring about.

Fortunately, people like Goran Marinkovic still care about the world we live in and especially defenseless creatures, like stray animals. One day while wandering the streets of Serbia in search of animals in need, he came across a scene that made his heartache. A small puppy hiding in a shoe sat there, extremely hungry and surrounded by trash.

Since there was no sign of his mother or the other dogs, Goran realized that the innocent creature had been abandoned there. So he stepped in, saved him and changed his life forever!

“I save endangered animals that live on the streets,” the kind man told Bored Panda. “I take care about animals because I love them. I love cats, dogs and all other animals equally.”

Goran initially fed the poor puppy – who’s condition looked pretty worse – and gave him water, then they visited a vet. After receiving medical treatment, the cute little thing found his way to Goran’s home, which eventually became his forever home as the man that saved him decided to adopt him.

Here a puppy named Smesten received not only food and proper care, but also the love and comfort he had always sought. Months after being found abandoned, Smesten looks very different!
