Beautiful scenario unfolds in Kruger National Park, South Africa’s most famous wildlife sanctuary. It is one of the last places on Earth where animals still roam freely and offers a rare opportunity for locals and tourists alike. This time, a group of drivers happened to see a leopardess and two small leopard cubs.

Among the lucky few witnesses was 64-year-old wildlife lover Thinus Delport. Delport and his daughters had a great love for the wild, so they went to Kruger’s safari camp in anticipation of rare encounters with the majestic creatures that have lived there. Regardless, his daughters had never seen a leopard before, the two decided to leave the camp early in the morning in search of one. But suddenly, they were forced to stop because of the traffic jam in front of them.

“Early early in the morning, my daughters and I left the camp in search of leopards,” Delport explained to Latest Sightings. “They were convinced there were no leopards on the Kruger, because they had never seen them.”

Imagine how surprised they were to find that the responsible for their stop was none other than a family of leopards.

“We had a traffic jam when a few cars were standing still in front of us,” Delport told Latest Sightings. “It seems the tourists are watching a pride of lions. My daughter noticed in the bushes behind our car a mother leopard trying to move her cubs… As we drove, I jokingly persuaded them to start singing in the car, to take the leopards out, and that’s what they did – and to my surprise – it actually worked!”

A mother leopard were followed by her two adorable cubs, preparing to cross the street, when the cubs were probably scared and decide not to follow their mother anymore. The drivers noticed the scene and immediately stopped their vehicles. Meanwhile, the leopard won children’s trust and the two venture across the street. However, for one of them, the effort seemed overwhelming, so so it had to be carried by its mother.

The moment of a lifetime was a dream come true for Delport, especially for his daughters. Fortunately, some eyewitnesses have captured this rare phenomenon on camera. Look at:
