Sadly, there are people in this world who are not even worthy of calling themselves human beings. Their ᴄʀᴜᴇʟᴛʏ is ᴅᴇᴍᴏɴ-ʟɪᴋᴇ, and often their ᴠɪᴄᴛɪᴍs cannot do anything to stop it. It’s absolutely unthinkable how could someone ʜᴜʀᴛ such a pure soul like the pup in this story, Angel.
A kind hearted person contacted Rᴇsᴄᴜᴇ From The Hart when she saw some people purposly Sᴛᴀʀᴠɪɴɢ to Dᴇᴀᴛʜ a ᴘᴏᴏʀ pup. The condition of this helpless creature was very disturbing for the rescuers. You could clearly see every and each ʙᴏɴᴇ on her body. How could someone be so ʜᴇᴀʀᴛʟᴇss?
The dog was very sɪᴄᴋ and could barely stand on her feet. They ᴄʜᴇᴄᴋᴇᴅ her up and saw that her stomach was ᴅᴀᴍᴀɢᴇᴅ. So they slowly started giving her the meals she needed. When she was found she was close to Dᴇᴀᴛʜ but thankfully after the amazing job of the Rᴇsᴄᴜᴇ team, she started step by step ʀᴇᴄᴏᴠᴇʀɪɴɢ and being healthy again.
When rescuers first met Angel, they ꜰᴇᴀʀᴇᴅ she might not sᴜʀᴠɪᴠᴇ. For months, the dog had been purposely sᴛᴀʀᴠᴇᴅ, said Annie Hart, founder of animal Rᴇsᴄᴜᴇ group Rᴇsᴄᴜᴇ from the Hart.
“Her organs had begun to shut down,” Hart told HuffPost in an e-mail Tuesday. “She was on the brink of Dᴇᴀᴛʜ.”
With the help of kindhearted volunteers and experienced veterinarians, Angel was given a second chance in life.
At first, they gave the pupper little amounts of food, as she was previously sᴛᴀʀᴠᴇᴅ and her body wasn’t used to receiving normal portions for a pup of her age. If they gave her too much food, this could cause sᴇᴠᴇʀᴇ ᴄᴏᴍᴘʟɪᴄᴀᴛɪᴏɴs and even end her precious life.
“She needed a miracle to sᴜʀᴠɪᴠᴇ,” the clip said of the pooch. But incredibly, Angel didn’t just sᴜʀᴠɪᴠᴇ — she thrived.
Today, Angel is healthy and active. She’s found a forever home and, according to Hart, couldn’t be better. Wake up to the day’s most important news.
“When Angel came to us, she only weighed 11 lbs. Today, 11 months later, she weighs 37.8 lbs,” Hart said. “She truly is a testament to what is possible when you have hope.”
Indeed, there are ᴄʀᴜᴇʟ people in this world who do ᴛᴇʀʀɪʙʟᴇ things to the most ᴠᴜʟɴᴇʀᴀʙʟᴇ and defenseless creatures. But there are many more pure-hearted ones who dedicate their lives to save those innocent souls and give them a second chance to live.
