Woman Takes Off Her Own Jacket And Gives It To Her Dog To Keep Him Warm

One day, Kristina Hollie was waiting for a bus with her coworker when they spotted a cute dog running some errands with his momma.
The human momma realized she couldn’t bring him into the post office with her, so she tied him up to a nearby tree.

What she did next melted the hearts of all those around to witness.

Kristina was speaking to The Dodo and said: “It was very cold and windy out. I noticed that he was visibly shaking. She obviously noticed too because she immediately took off her jacket and covered the dog as he sat. Maybe she thought he would kick it off, so she bent down and zipped it up around him!”

While his mom put her jacket around him, the pup sat completely still, clearly excited to be wearing something so warm and cozy.

It warmed our hearts to know that the lady wanted to make sure her furry friend was as comfortable as possible, even if it was only for a few minutes.

“As soon as she got up and walked past me, I told her that what she did was incredibly sweet and thoughtful,” Hollie said. “She just replied, ‘Thank you! I don’t want him to be cold!’”

As expected, the adorable pup got lots of attention as passersby couldn’t help but take a photo or comment on his jacket.

“I saw two or three other people walk past him and comment that he looked very cute and very warm,” said Kristina.

After a little while, Kristina’s bus arrived, and as she boarded, she couldn’t help but take one final look back at the warm, cozy pup sitting on the sidewalk.
